Here’s everything you should know

Classes & studio

  • Comfortable sports clothes. Grip socks (mandatory) — available to purchase at the studio if needed. Your own water bottle (filtered tap water available).

  • To join group classes, prior reformer experience is required. Beginners must complete either our Reformer Foundations Course (5 sessions) or private introductory sessions first. Full details are on the Reformer Foundations page. If you don’t see a slot that works, email us at studio@xxpilates.com.

  • Yes, but please inform your instructor before class so they can modify exercises for safety. In some cases, private sessions may be the best starting point. A doctor’s note may be required.

  • We don’t offer pregnancy-specific group classes. However, some of our instructors are trained to work with prenatal clients and can safely adapt exercises when needed. Please check our Studio & Team page to see who is pregnancy-trained.
If you’re expecting, we recommend booking a private session to begin with. A doctor’s approval is required before starting any Pilates practice at the studio.

  • The minimum age for group classes is 14. If you’re under 16, a parent or guardian will need to come along with you. From 16 onward, you can join classes on your own.

  • Our main teaching language is English, but many of our instructors speak other languages too and are happy to adapt when possible. If you’re looking for a specific language, check our Studio & Team page to see which instructors can teach in it.

  • Yes! We can organize private group sessions on reformers or other equipment. Email us at studio@xxpilates.com to arrange it.

  • Pilates is low cardio and high strength training 😉

But yes, we have one shower. Please be mindful of time and considerate of others who may be waiting.

  • No private parking, but the Royal Hamilius parking is just 1 min walk from the studio. Public transport (Hamilius) is also right nearby.

  • Yes — there’s a vel’OH! station and multiple spots to park your bike around Hamilius.
